4th annual Tour of Las Cruces

WHAT:        The 4^th Annual Tour de Las Cruces 62-mile or 25-mile course

WHEN:        Sunday, November 15^th, 2009; * 7:00 a.m. check-in/registration **8:00 a.m. mass start

WHERE:      Las Cruces, NM

MountainView Regional Medical Office Building Parking Lot – 4351 E. Lohman

~Take I-25 to the Lohman exit. Turn east 2 miles to the MountainView Medical Office Building, just past the Lohman/Roadrunner intersection. (Please do not use the Hospital parking!)

COST:         $30.00 Registration guarantees you:

~ event shirt (1^st 100 registrations received by October 30th)

                   ~ event water bottle

                   ~ catered lunch after the ride

This is not a race! The last sweep of the course will take place at 2:00 p.m.  Multi-speed bikes are recommended. Helmets are required. All participants will be required to sign a release of liability form at

check-in.

Busy weekend for ZiaVelo

Good Luck at 12 hours of El Paso and WSMR Century. It seems that just about every member of ZiaVelo will be involved in some type of bike event this weekend.

12 hours of EP will keep the MTB set busy and happily engaged in an event that is sure to bring stories of glory or woe.

Bright and early the WSMR Century will begin with a gaggle of road riders determined to keep the club mving and setting a pace that will get the group across the line together.

Getting ready for the 12 hours of El Paso

The race will be held on Saturday October 24, 2009 and begin at 10:00am until 10:00 PM. There will be no race day registration. If you have not yet registered, you can do so online at New Mexico Sports Online until mid-night Thursday October 22, or in person until Friday October 23 at The Bicycle Company.

Friday October 23, will also be packet pick up day at The Bicycle Company, at 3800 N. Mesa Suite D5. Call 915-544-2453 for directions. Packet pick up begins at noon.

If you are a junior rider, please come with your legal parent or guardian on packet pick up day so that they can sign your waiver and release form.
